AT&T and Alltel Merger

Don't wait until the 6th because if you do and run into problems like I did today you will be left without a phone. I had a bad SIM card and can't use my AT&T phone until I replace the card,and now I have to go to Norton and try to find one at no charge to me.

I heard about the comcast to AT&T from a friend of mine and he had them call my phone and it went thru no problem. Am I the only one has had 0 complaints so far. I am 100% happy at the moment. I am sure they will get the wrinkles out before long, anyone who was expecting a flawless transition are crazy

I'm with you. I have zero complaints so far. My service has been great and I love the new phone.

All is cool with me too ! I don't have comcast,, was just trying to help a friend that was experiencing the same problems that CD was talking about with comcast phone calls.

You are absolutely correct on that point. No doubt about it.

So far the only complaint I have is my wife, who happens to be the acct holder, and my mom, who has a phone on the acct, want to wait for the automatic transition on Jan 6. Grrrrrrrrr.......:Angry:

So far we've had no issues either. Turn them on, set them up, set up online account, done. Service seems no different than we had with Alltel. I've always said there's a force field around the house that doesn't permit more than one bar of cell service while inside. AT&T service is no different.

I'm just having to learn a new phone, but so far it seems pretty user friendly.

If you know the last 4 digits of your wife's SSN you can just go behind their backs and set up your phone. Each phone on an account is activated individually. :D
